Getting Started

The typical operator path is:

  1. confirm you are in the correct tenant
  2. connect your source and target remotes
  3. make sure the right worker pool or worker is available
  4. create a project
  5. create a job
  6. start with Dry Run or Scan
  7. review the results
  8. move to a live Run when the configuration is safe

1. Learn the core terms

Read Core Concepts first so the rest of the product labels make sense.

2. Add remotes

Use Connectors and Remotes to understand how source and target endpoints are configured and reused.

3. Check execution capacity

Read Worker Pools and Workers if your jobs depend on shared pools, dedicated workers, or local filesystem access.

4. Create a project and a job

Use Projects and Jobs to set up the path pair and execution settings.

5. Start safely

Before a live run, use Run, Dry Run, and Scan and Filters and Exclusions.

6. Watch the run or scan

Use Runs and Monitoring for active execution and Scan Results and Remediation for scan-only findings and actions.
