Filters and Exclusions

Filters shape what the job evaluates and what it should skip.

Exclusions

The main operator-facing control today is the exclude-filter list and its browse-assisted selector.

Use exclusions when you want to skip known folders or files before a live run or scan spends time traversing them.

Browse-assisted exclusions

The exclude browser lets you traverse the source tree and toggle visible items into or out of the exclusion list.

Delete excluded

Delete excluded is an advanced option and should be treated carefully.

Before enabling it:

  1. review the exclusion list
  2. perform a Dry Run
  3. confirm that the excluded scope is exactly what you intend

Include filters

Some include-filter behavior remains part of the product contract, but it may be hidden from the ordinary User Interface when it is not the recommended workflow.
